What does the Email Server Test check?

How do I run a test?
Generate a one-time test address from the dashboard (e.g. test-9f3a2b@mx.test.verifymaill.com), send any email to it from the configuration you want to audit, and the report appears in seconds.
How long does a test take?
Reports are generated in real time. Most tests complete within a few seconds of the email being received, including DNS lookups, DMARC parsing and reputation checks.
Will my email be exposed in any way?
No. Test addresses are one-time and unique to your account. Received messages are processed by an isolated worker, scanned for the checks above, and then permanently deleted along with the report after 30 days.
What's the difference between this and DMARC monitoring?
